DSNY Proposed Rule--Designation of 20 Commercial Waste Zones

The NYC Department of Transportation has proposed a rule establishing 20 Commercial Waste zones, together with certifications by the Law Department and Mayor’s Office of Operations. Click here to view the proposed rule.  

The proposed rule was published in the City Record on Thursday, December 12, 2019.  The rule contains a notice to the public for the opportunity to comment on the rule through COB January 13, 2020.  DSNY will hold its agency public hearing at 125 Worth Street in the 2^nd floor auditorium from 9:30am to 12:00pm on January 13, 2020. 

Following the comment period, DSNY will consider all comments and then publish the final rule which will become effective 30 days after such publication.
