If you're looking for a Sunday activity to plan with your family for Father's Day, Lincoln Square also has you covered. Take everyone to celebrate the day at the American Folk Art Museum, on Broadway between 65th and 66th Streets, our free, local museum showcasing self-taught American artists. This week, a brand new exhibit opened titled Charting the Divine Plan: The Art of Orra White Hitchcock (1796-1863)which explores the confluence of art, love, science, and religion in the extraordinary art of Orra White Hitchcock, one of America's first female scientific illustrators. Be some of the first to see it this weekend! 
 
Or, if dad is more of a movie buff, take him to a film at the Film Society of Lincoln Center between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues on 65th Street, enjoy new release Summer 1993, a Spanish drama of family and childhood, or 1969 film The Damned, which chronicles the downfall of a wealthy German family doing business with the Nazi Party. 
 
Also on Lincoln Center's campus, Lincoln Center is offering free guided tours of the iconic campus each Sunday in June at 1:30pm to celebrate New York Music Month. As Father's Day is Sunday, June 17, grab the family and take a free tour, maybe even after a delicious local brunch!
