Find Your Build the Block Meeting

Neighborhood Policing has arrived to New York City. As part of this practice, Neighborhood Coordination Officers (NCOs) are assigned to and remain in a sector, or neighborhood, for the duration of their tour. Additionally, NCOs are given the time and flexibility to make strong bonds with the community they serve.

This is a new way of doing business for the NYPD, and they need the community's help to make it work. Precincts would like to hear from local community members about neighborhood safety and are hosting Build the Block meetings to discuss neighborhood safety and allow community members to voice concerns and ask questions.
