Do you miss going to the movie theater to see the latest films? Even though movie theaters have been closed the past few months, many great films have been released in 2020. Film at Lincoln Center’s (FLC) Virtual Cinema ensures that excellent films continue to reach audiences while their theaters remain physically closed. To celebrate the remarkable movies that have arrived thus far in 2020, FLC asked their community on social media to share their favorite movie selections of the year. Selections include movies now playing in the FLC Virtual Cinema, such as Abel Ferrara’s Tommaso, Bora Kim’s House of Hummingbird, Bruno Dumont’s Joan of Arc, and Kelly Reichardt’s First Cow. Tickets to stream vary among films. View all of the best movies of 2020 so far here.

Additionally, FLC is reaching out to the community to ask: What does cinema mean to you? FLC invites you to share any story, memory or experience about FLC or your relationship with cinema that is meaningful or important to you. Share your video stories by July 31 and you'll be entered to win a Film at Lincoln Center membership! Click here for more information and to submit a video.
