Congratulations to Laura Auricchio, the newly appointed Dean of Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC)! For the first time since its opening in 1968, FCLC will have a female dean leading the school. Auricchio was approved by a search committee on Tuesday, April 30 and will assume the role beginning in August 2019, taking over from Interim Dean Frederick J. Wertz.

According to a recent press release, Auricchio’s first time on a Fordham campus was back when her mother was completing her Ph.D. in Psychology at the Rose Hill campus. Aurrichio has spent the past 17 years at the New School, first as a professor and later as vice provost for curriculum and learning. Click here to read the full press release from Fordham
