Global Citizen Festival 2019

The Global Citizen Festival will take place this Saturday, September 28 on the Great Lawn inside Central Park. NYPD is expecting upwards of 60,000 people for this event. In past years, lines for entry have stretched from the Great Lawn down to Merchants’ Gate at Columbus Circle. Headliners for this year’s event include Queen, Alicia Keys and Carol King. No street closures are expected for the event as it is contained inside Central Park. All trash cans on CPW from 59^th Street to 86^th Street will be relocated ahead of this event.
