New York COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Governor Cuomo has announced that people with listed comorbidities and underlying conditions will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine starting on Monday, February 15. View the list of eligible comorbidities and conditions here. Check outVaccine Together NY, NYC Vaccine List, and vaccinefinder.nyc.gov to try to find a vaccine location and schedule an appointment in NYC online. And, if you are outside of NYC, click here to check eligibility and try to make an appointment in New York State.

"NY PopsUp" Statewide Festival

Governor Cuomo has announced "NY PopsUp," an expansive statewide festival of pop-up events delivered right into the daily life of New Yorkers, transforming existing New York landscapes into stages for world-class performance. More than 300 pop-up events are planned across the five boroughs and New York State in 100 days. Performances begin on Saturday, February 20. Find more information here.

NYC Public Middle School Buildings to Reopen

The New York City Department of Education has announced that New York City middle school buildings will reopen for in-person blended learning beginning Thursday, February 25. Your child’s school will contact you with your student’s specific in-person schedule. High school students will continue to learn remotely until further notice. Learn more here.

Virtual DOB Office Hours 2.23.21

Speaker Johnson will be hosting a virtual DOB OFFICE HOURS event with the Department of Buildings on Tuesday, February 23, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Constituents will be able to speak directly with an agency representative about building issues they may be experiencing. New York State of Health Open Enrollment Period Extended

As part of New York's ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic the Open Enrollment Period for uninsured New Yorkers will be extended through Wednesday, March 31. New Yorkers can apply for coverage through NY State of Health, New York's Official Health Plan Marketplace, or directly through insurers. New Yorkers can apply for coverage through NY State of Health online atnystateofhealth.ny.gov, by phone at 1-855-355-5777.

Empire State Digital and Ritual Partnership

Ritual has teamed up with PayPal to support economic relief efforts in New York State -- specifically focused on providing restaurants and food service establishments with discounts on joining their platform and a two-month long consumer campaign to stimulate business during these unprecedented times. Restaurants and food service establishments that join Ritual through the Empire State Digital initiative can access digital tools to enable them to accept contactless orders for free until Wednesday, March 31.
