New York COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Governor Cuomo has announced that vaccine eligibility has been expanded to New Yorkers aged 60 and over. Appointments will open across the state tomorrow, Wednesday, March 10 at 8:00am. On Wednesday, March 17, New York will open up vaccine eligibility to public-facing government employees, nonprofit emergency workers and essential building service workers. This includes workers such as public works employees, social service and child service caseworkers, government inspectors, sanitation workers, DMV workers, County Clerks, building service workers and election workers. And, the MTA has launched a new Vaccination Site Locator on their Live Subway Map.

The City’s effort to vaccinate homebound New Yorkers is now officially underway. The requirements are that you must be fully homebound, a resident of NYC, and eligible for the vaccine. Click here to add your name to the list of those interested in receiving in-home vaccination.

Check out Vax4NYCTurboVaxVaccine Together NYNYC Vaccine List, and vaccinefinder.nyc.gov to try to find a vaccine location and schedule an appointment in NYC online.
