Find a COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment

Following guidance from the CDC and FDA, New York has paused its distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. According to the Governor, people who have appointments TODAY to receive the J&J vaccine at a State vaccination site will receive the Pfizer vaccine. You should not cancel your appointment! We have no information on future appointments, but you can call the vaccine hotline at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829) for more information.

Remove Standing Water on Your Property to Reduce Mosquitoes

Because mosquitoes breed in water, the New York City Health Department is asking for your cooperation in getting rid of standing water on your property. Article 151.03 of the New York City Health Code requires property owners to remove accumulated water from their property from Thursday, April 1 through Sunday, October 31. Get tips on removing mosquitoes here and click here to view a checklist for getting rid of standing water.

City Cleanup Corps is Hiring

The City Cleanup Corps (NYC CCC) will employ 10,000 New Yorkers for beautification across the city. NYC CCC workers will wipe away graffiti, powerwash sidewalks, create community murals, tend to community gardens, beautify public spaces, and work with community organizations to clean their neighborhoods. Check out available job opportunities here.
