Great Pianists on Film at Lincoln Center
For over five decades, Great Performers has presented the world's most celebrated orchestras, conductors, and soloists at Lincoln Center. While the 2018-19 Season is nearing the end of its run, there is still an opportunity to catch some fantastic musical performances!
 
This month, Lincoln Center will be showcasing its  Great Pianists on Film series. Each season, the Music on Film series makes it possible to travel through time to witness some of the most iconic performers of the past century in career-defining moments. In this extraordinary collection, Lincoln Center is bringing together exceptional performance footage of master pianists, including Argerich, Arrau, Backhaus, Gould, Horowitz, Rubinstein, and Serkin.
 
On Saturday, April 13 at 1:00pm, catch Great Pianists Play Beethoven. Also on April 13, there is a Great Pianists Play Chopin performance at 3:00pm. The series ends with Gould Plays Bach on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00pm. Performances are located in the Walter Reade Theater and tickets are $15. Availability is limited, so buy yours before they sell out!
