Join Your Community Board for 2019

The Office of Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer is now accepting applications for the 2019-2021 class of Manhattan Community Board members. New Yorkers living, working, or studying in the borough of Manhattan are encouraged to apply.

 

Within Lincoln Square, Community Board 7 and Community Board 4 both represent portions of the neighborhood. Community Boards are each composed of 50 volunteer members serving two-year terms and allow local community members a chance to communicate with the City and each other to consider local issues, including sidewalk cafe approval and local transportation initiatives, among other topics. These Boards play an active role in shaping the character and identity of their neighborhoods.
