Kaufman Summer String Fest
Kaufman Music Center's Summer String Fest brings together talented young violinists, violists, and cellists each August for an intensive week of music-making, fun, and friendship. This year's 2017 Summer String Fest at Kaufman Music Center's Lucy Moses School will conclude with an exciting free performance at Merkin Concert Hall on Friday, August 25 at 3:00pm. The program for the event is as follows:

AARON COPLAND  -  "Hoedown" from Rodeo
 
This final performance will showcase the hard work and talent of all String Fest participants, featuring student ensembles, conductors Rob Kapilow and Tristan Rais-Sherman, and the acclaimed Harlem Quartet. Tickets to this performance are free. Seating is general admission.
