Lincoln Center Announces Spring Season
Feb 8, 2022Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has announced programming for their upcoming Spring 2022 Season, which includes the reopening of the David Rubenstein Atrium and special Choose What You Pay ticketing options.
On Thursday, March 10, the David Rubenstein Atrium (61 West 62nd Street between Broadway and Columbus Avenue) will reopen with free public performances running through Thursday, May 26. Audiences will be treated to specially curated events and performances multiple days a week. Highlights include the return of fan-favorite Latin dance nights, a family friendly performance from the neuro-diverse theater company E.P.I.C. Players, and a staged reading of teenage playwrights in #ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence in collaboration with Roundabout Youth Ensemble. The Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse will feature a new edition of American Songbook entitled A World of Voices from Thursday, April 14 through Saturday, April 30, made more accessible with a Choose What You Pay ticketing model. Tickets start at $5 and go on sale Wednesday, February 16 at 12:00pm at AmericanSongbook.org. With Choose What You Pay ticketing, you decide what's right for you. All guests will be required to provide proof that the final dose of their primary COVID-19 vaccination series was administered at least 14 days before entry. In addition, all guests eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster, under eligibility criteria recommended by the CDC , must present proof of receiving a COVID-19 booster. Face masks will be required, and children under 5 will not be admitted at this time.
Lincoln Center will also host a Community Blood Drive in partnership with the New York Blood Center at the Rubenstein Atrium on Tuesday, March 22 and Tuesday, May 24 from 12:30pm – 6:30pm. Appointments can be made at nybc.org/lincolncenter.
