Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival 2017
Jul 27, 2017It's music to your ears! From now through Sunday, August 20, Lincoln Center is hosting its annual celebration of Mozart and his creative and inspirational legacy. The Mostly Mozart Festival combines classical music with orchestral performance, theatrical production, and more to bring beautiful compositions to life for a music-filled summer in the city.
This year's schedule includes some great programming. The Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra is set to play performances throughout the month-long season with dynamic guest conductors from around the world. On various days between August 1 & August 14 there will be a number of contemporary classical performances showcasing the talent of more modern musical artists. On August 17, 19 & 20, there will be a lively and innovative staging of Mozart's Opera Don Giovanni by the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Plus, many more opportunities to experience wonderful music through different performance types.
