Lincoln Center's Spring 2022 Programming

Spring has arrived, and with the change of season come new, exciting live performances to look forward to! Check out what Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and its resident organizations have planned over the next couple of months.

There are a lot of great movies coming to Film at Lincoln Center (FLC) over the next couple of months. Next Thursday, March 31, the ninth edition of Art of the Real returns to FLC. Other season highlights include the exclusive openings of The Tale of King Crab on Friday, April 15 and Los conductos on Friday, April 29. Click here to check out FLC’s spring programming.

The Met Opera is continuing to bring visionary productions to the stage this spring. Notably, Richard Strauss’ Elektra will be running from Friday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 20, and two new productions of Lucia di Lammermoor and Hamlet will be making their way to the Met’s stage this spring. View the Met’s calendar here.  

Lincoln Center Theater’s At the Wedding officially opened last night at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65th Street). And previews begin on Friday, April 1 for The Skin of Our TeethLearn more about these Lincoln Center Theater productions here.

The David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center brings free events and performances to Lincoln Square every week. Click here to view the Atrium's calendar. And from Wednesday, April 13 through Wednesday, April 30, Lincoln Center will be hosting its American Songbook: A World of VoicesTickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.

The New York City Ballet (NYCB) has announced its spring line-up rich with beloved repertory works, two world premieres, a two-week festival, and a classic full-length fairytale. The season kicks off on Tuesday, April 19 with Masters at Work: Balanchine & Robbins I. And don’t miss out on the Stravinsky Festival, which honors the legendary composer, from Tuesday, May 3 to Sunday, May 15. Click here to view the entire NYCB spring line-up and purchase tickets.

Chamber Music Society is showcasing a number of performances this spring. Check out New Milestones: Emergence of Beauty on Thursday, April 14, Carnival of the Animals on Sunday, May 15, and more. View the entire line-up here.

Don’t miss out on spectacular jazz shows either! Jazz at Lincoln Center will be hosting Celebrating Chick Correa on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16 – rescheduled from this past January. Additionally, three-time Grammy Award winner Cecile McLorin Salvant returns to the Rose Theater on Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13. Though the new David Geffen Hall may not be open yet, the NY Philharmonic is still showing audiences great concerts at Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall and other locations around the neighborhood! If you’re a movie fan, you don’t want to miss out on Disney’s Fantasia in Concert on Wednesday, April 20, which still has limited seats available.
