Lincoln Square Clean Team Tackles Stella

Ten members of the Lincoln Square BID's Clean Team braved yesterday's storm--as did the members of our four person Goddard Riverside crew--so that people could safely navigate Lincoln Square's streets and sidewalks and can do so today as well. A big thanks also goes to the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation which showed up in full force to clear and salt paths through Dante Park and Richard Tucker Park and to the New York City Department of Sanitation for plowing our streets.
As the storm has officially passed, our Clean Team will continue to clear crosswalks, pedestrian crossings in the Broadway Malls, bus stops, catch basins and fire hydrants today, removing slush and ice. We are appreciative of their hard work and also of the diligence of our neighborhood property owners and businesses for their efforts to keep their sidewalks clear through the storm.
