As New York continues to open back up, we thought we’d give you a snapshot of where the retail market is in Lincoln Square at the moment. Currently, 78% of our retailers, non-profits, and garages are open. In some of our sectors most popular with shoppers, all of our retailers are open, such as clothing and clothing accessories stores, home goods stores, and beauty supply stores. While most of our retailers are open, restaurants have been more limited by regulations to protect their patrons and staff from contracting COVID-19. Of our 47 restaurants and eateries, 49% are currently open either for takeout, delivery, indoor dining, or outdoor dining. We hope for these numbers to grow as the vaccine rollout continues and with warmer weather on its way.

Though 20 of our 28 non-profit institutions are closed, many of them are offering virtual programming, which you will find on our events calendar. But for those yearning to experience some of Lincoln Square’s cultural wonders in person, you can check out the American Folk Art Museum or the Museum of Arts and Design or catch the latest films at the newly reopened AMC Lincoln Square 13. Additionally, Lincoln Center’s Restart Stages is set to launch on World Health Day, April 7, with a special performance for healthcare workers.

For a list of which businesses are open, check out our neighborhood guide.
