Local Street Impact: NYC Half-Marathon 3.20.22

The 2022 New York City Half Marathon will take place this Sunday, March 20. Below is some information about the impact it will have in the area surrounding Lincoln Square.

Central Park West (CPW) from Columbus Circle to West 69th Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday morning. Read DOT’s weekend traffic advisory for more information

Additionally, the NYPD has confirmed that there will be "no parking" regulations on the side blocks between Broadway and CPW from Columbus Circle and 64th Street, the east side of Broadway between Columbus Circle and 65th Street, as well as 62nd Street from Columbus Avenue to Amsterdam Avenue. There will also be "no parking" regulations in place on CPW due to the street closure. Click here for a list of "no parking" regulations.

*Note that timing of the "no parking" regulations and street closures are at the discretion of the NYPD, but the half-marathon begins at 7:00am Sunday morning in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, and ends inside Central Park.*
