Lunches and Brunches for Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is this weekend, so plan a delicious outing at one of Lincoln Square’s local restaurants to celebrate if you're able to snag a reservation. Several eateries have planned Mother’s Day menus as well as offer brunch and lunch specials to enjoy too.

Bar Boulud (1900 Broadway at 64th Street) is serving a special Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 9 for dining inside or on the outdoor terrace. The three-course prix-fixe menu is $68 per person and includes dishes like smoked salmon tartine, quiche aux legumes, and more. Click here to view the entire menu. Bar Boulud is also now open for midday lunch on Monday-Friday from 11:30am to 2:30pm and weekend brunch on Saturday from 11:00am to 2:30pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 3:30pm.

Enjoy Rosa Mexicano's (61 West 62nd Street at Columbus Avenue) Mexican-inspired prix-fixe Mother's Day dinner on Sunday, May 9. At Bluebird London (10 Columbus Circle) you can celebrate Mother’s Day all-day on Sunday, May 9. Make a reservation for brunch or dinner, and enjoy special cocktails and desserts for the holiday. Plus, fifteen lucky moms celebrating at the restaurant will win special giveaways. Click here for details about the occasion. Bluebird London is open for brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Click here to view the brunch menu. The restaurant is also offering a two-course lunch special with dessert as part of NYC’s Neighborhood Getaways campaign on Monday – Friday. For special views over Lincoln Square as you celebrate, make a reservation at The Empire Rooftop (43 West 63rd Street at Broadway) for brunch this weekend. The menu features classic brunch cocktails and dishes, like an Empire Bloody Mary and the Empire Benedict. Click here to view the menu. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday beginning at noon

The Smith (1900 Broadway at 63rd Street) offers brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Book a reservation to dine inside or outside for this weekend and enjoy steak and eggs, vanilla bean French toast, and more. Café Fiorello (1900 Broadway at 63rd Street) is open for brunch on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10:00am. Enjoy eggs and omelets served with cacio e pepe fries, smoked fish dishes, and more. Click here to view the brunch menu and make a reservation for this weekend to celebrate with family.

Tartinery (10 Columbus Circle) has a breakfast and pastries menu featuring items like ham and cheese croissants, apple cider bundts, smashed avocado toast, and more. Enjoy dining in the café area inside or take your breakfast items to-go for a walk around the neighborhood to enjoy spring greenery. Click here to view the menu. Tartinery just extended hours this week and is now open from Monday-Saturday from 9:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

Also, check out Le Botaniste (156 Columbus Avenue at 67th Street) and Le Pain Quotidien (60 West 65th Street at Broadway) for more casual lunch and breakfast options to enjoy both inside and outside at café tables. Order a vegetarian or vegan bowl at Le Botaniste and consider having an organic glass of wine to celebrate. At Le Pain Quotidien, you can order pastries, breakfast, lunch, and café drinks, which you can also take to-go and enjoy at the BID’s tables and chairs in Richard Tucker Park or Dante Park nearby. And, head to Whole Foods Market or Gourmet Garage to pick up mom some specialty foods to drop off or bring to her, including cheeses and chocolates, to make it a special Sunday at home. At both Whole Foods Market and Gourmet Garage you can also pick up beautiful flowers and flower bouquets to show mom some extra appreciation.

This is not an exhaustive list of eateries in Lincoln Square where you can celebrate Mother’s Day with a meal. Some places may be fully booked and others may only offer dinner.
