Can't make it to New Orleans this year for Mardi Gras? Luckily the party is coming to Lincoln Square. Check out the three ways to celebrate in Lincoln Square this year.

Celebrate Mardi Gras in classic New Orleans style with toe-tappin' jazz. This year, enjoy a special performance in Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center (10 Columbus Circle) with trombonist Jeffery Miller, a multi-Grammy Award nominee, and other talented musicians. On February 25, the New Orleans native, who lived right off Mardi Gras Boulevard, leads the Dizzy's Club Mardi Gras Party for the first time with two shows-one at 7:30pm and one at 9:30pm. Representing the best of New Orleans music, Miller has performed with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra; the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, both at Carnegie Hall (when he was only 15) and at Madison Square Garden; and with multiple members of the Marsalis family. With special Mardi Gras drinks on the menu, the club will be in good spirits for this special occasion. Enjoy an authentic Mardi Gras celebration and purchase tickets today.

If you'd like to celebrate with a crowd and drinks, join guests for Gametight NY's annual Mardi Gras Party on Saturday, February 29 at The Empire Rooftop (44 West 63rd Street). The event begins a 8:00pm, during which guests can enjoy drink specials, free beads and masks for the first 100 guests, ice breaker games, prizes, and a live DJ for dancing. Tickets for entry are $20. Click here for the event listing. Note: contact the provided phone number for exact information.

King cakes or Galettes des Rois are a favorite way to celebrate Mardi Gras as well. If you'd like to celebrate at home with friends or family, or even at work with your coworkers, head to Épicerie Boulud (1900 Broadway) for a Galette des Rois. This holiday cake comes with a hidden trinket inside of its flaky pastry layers in Mardi Gras tradition. Pick one up in-store today through February 25.
