Message from DSNY about Precautions During Protesting

The NYC Department of Sanitation has asked us to share a message with our district members: 

With a number of protests going on citywide, it is important to keep as little material curbside as possible to reduce its potential use as a weapon or kindling by those who might use the protest as a cover for other activity. Sanitation asks that buildings and businesses please arrange for carter service prior to any potential protest activity or safely hold the material until any protest activity is over. This small step can assist in greatly reducing safety concerns and potential cleanliness issues.
