Met Opera's 2018 Summer HD Festival
The final stretch of summer is your best opportunity to enjoy Operatic performances for an amazing price: free. Between Friday, August 24 and Monday, September 3, audiences can enjoy the tenth annual Summer HD Festival, which features ten thrilling performances from the Met's Live in HD series of cinema transmissions. For each viewing, there will be approximately 3,000 seats set up in front of the opera house, as well as additional standing room around Lincoln Center's Plaza. Additionally, this year there will be a special pre-festival screening of the Marx Brothers' zany A Night at the Opera, co-presented with the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
