The Metropolitan Opera’s popular Summer HD Festival returns to Damrosch Park from Friday, August 27 to Monday, September 6. This year’s lineup includes ten free encore presentations of past Live-in HD transmissions, and kicks off with a special screening of Susan Froemke’s documentary The Opera House. The festival will also feature performances from Anna Netrebko, Piotr Beczala, Sonya Yoncheva, Javier Camarena, and many more fantastic opera stars.

Screenings are free and open to the public, with approximately 3,000 seats available for each presentation. There are two ways to secure seats. General admission seating will open ten minutes before each presentation on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you want to secure a seat ahead of time, you can enter for a chance to win up to two reserved seats for presentations through the TodayTix Lottery or by calling Lincoln Center Guest Services at (212) 875-5456. Lottery entries close three days before a presentation at 12:59pm.
