Midweek Movie Series

Film buffs rejoice--no more midweek blues thanks to a local library's free programming.  

Every Wednesday, the Riverside Library at 127 Amsterdam Avenue (at 65th Street) hosts a free series titled Midweek Movie perfect for local film lovers. The screenings begin at 11:15am and often feature classics and pre-1960s films. Coming up for the last week of February, enjoy Affair in Trinidad, a steamy espionage tale starring Rita Hayworth, Glenn Ford, and Alexander Scourby on February 27. This is an ongoing series, so check back on the Riverside Library's event page closer to March for all of the movies coming up next month. Such a great way to get over the mid-week hump! The Riverside Library is also home to a number of other great free programs for kids and adults of all ages.
