More Culture for You to Enjoy!

It’s July, and there’s more exciting virtual content to keep you entertained at home!

Between Wednesday, July 15 and Sunday, July 19, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (LPA) will be hosting a number of virtual events focused on getting Broadway, Book, and Music lovers engaged in discussion and fun. Enrich your day with music and conversation during a Library Music Club event; enjoy a Broadway Game Night happy hour with fellow theater aficionados; or participate in a theater-based book club discussing topics like Shakespeare in a modern context. Click here to browse the handful of library hosted events and plan an engaging social experience from your own living room.

From Friday, July 17 to Monday, July 20, Film at Lincoln Center along with Dance Films Association will present the 48th edition of the Dance on Camera Festival. This virtual festival will feature cinema from across the globe—from Argentina to Ireland—and will include a variety of features and shorts, opening with the U.S. premiere of an intimate look at celebrated choreographer, Maguy Marin. The program will also feature a selection of short films submitted this June that focus on how isolation has manifested itself in creative dancers. Don’t miss the longest-running dance film festival in the world--a fun slice of performing arts entertainment right from home. Tickets are now on sale.
