Two Lincoln Square eateries are re-opening for locals and foodies to enjoy delicious meals once again.

The General Manager of Café Fiorello notified us that the restaurant will re-open for takeout and delivery beginning Monday, June 1. Expect tasty pizza options as well as chicken and veal parmigiana and more. The menu also offers a selection of vegetarian dishes and gluten free options, plus sauces from the restaurant’s dishes will be available for purchase by the jar at Fiorello’s Italian Market, which will return with the re-opening. Click here to see a PDF of the menu. The operating hours will be 12:00pm-9:00pm daily. For more information, contact Café Fiorello at (212) 595-5330.

Last week Nougatine at Jean-Georges rolled out a curbside pick-up and delivery dinner program. The French-inspired eatery has put together a menu for you to enjoy at home, including family‑style entrees that feed 4-6 people, cakes, spirits, wines by the bottle and cocktails. According to Jean-Georges, this menu will evolve and change with time. Right now, options include fried calamari, black sea bass, rigatoni with meatballs, and more savory selections. Orders will be accepted on Tuesday-Thursday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and on Friday and Saturday from 4:00pm – 9:00pm. Click here to view more food options. Orders can be made through Grubhub, Caviar, and Seamless.

Additionally, The Smith, a restaurant that has remained open for takeout and delivery throughout the crisis, has started a new program for even more delicious dining experiences—The Smith at Home. This program will bring the eatery’s best straight to your door through a menu of prepared foods and curated specialty grocery items. This includes grilling kits to make four of the restaurant's popular burgers, complete with short rib blend patties, house-made bacon shallot jam, crispy onions, american cheese, The Smith burger sauce, habanero pickles, little gem lettuce, and potato buns. If you order by noon on Thursdays, you can opt in for Friday delivery for a great grilling weekend experience. Click here for menus and here for more information about delivery options and FAQ. Delivery options extend to Long Island and The Hamptons, as well as Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn.

Of course, a number of other restaurants in the district are still open for takeout and delivery. Treat yourself to a delicious meal from one of your favorites and take a break from the fuss of cooking at home. We may be missing the experience of dining out for a date or a nice evening with family or friends, but we don’t have to miss the great food Lincoln Square has to offer. You’ll be satisfying your palate and supporting local businesses. Click here for a list of businesses open now in Lincoln Square, including eateries. Bon Appetit!
