New in the Neighborhood: Maman
Mar 15, 2022Attention foodies: French-bakery and café Maman is planning to open the doors of their new Lincoln Square location next week. You may have already visited Maman at one of their other locations around New York City and New Jersey (or maybe even Canada), and we are so excited that the café has chosen Lincoln Square for a new home.
Maman founders Benjamin Sormonte and Elisa Marshall have brought to life a melding of their earliest childhood experiences in the kitchen and a nod to their mothers from the south of France and North America. Maman, after all, means “mother” in French. The café updates its menu as the seasons change, but you can expect to find breakfast goodies – such as quiches, smashed avocado tartines, and granola parfaits – soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries and more at the new location. You can also grab a hot coffee or tea and try their famous nutty chocolate chip cookie, named one of “Oprah’s Favorite Things” for 2017 and one of the best chocolate chip cookies in New York from New York Magazine. Click here to view Maman’s NYC menu.
The new Maman is located at 152 Columbus Avenue (between West 66th and West 67th Streets) and will be open weekdays from 7:30am – 6:00pm and 8:00am – 6:00pm on weekends. Please note that the kitchen will close at 4:00pm every day. Learn more about Maman on their website, and click here to follow their Instagram.
Welcome to Lincoln Square, Maman!
