New York Asian Film Festival 2020

The New York Asian Film Festival is an annual film festival held in New York City, dedicated to Asian Film Culture. This year, the 19th edition will take place from Friday, August 28 through Saturday, September 12, 2020 as a special virtual festival presented by Film at Lincoln Center. The festival, featuring 51 films, will present a balance of arthouse, mainstream, and genre titles from multiple countries and will also have a spotlight on women filmmakers, focusing on titles directed and led by women. Films from the line-up include: Heavy Craving from Taiwan, Lucky Chan-sil and Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 from South Korea, My Prince Edward from Hong Kong, and Victim(s) from Malaysia, among others. Ticketing will be released soon and will be available up until the start of the festival on August 28. The festival will be presented through Smart Cinema USA, which you can download and install in anticipation of the festival here: Apple StoreGoogle Play Store; www.smartcinemausa.com.
