New York City Ballet Art Series Presents Jihan Zencirli

Jihan Zencirli, a Turkish American visual artist, will install more than 200,000 compostable, biodegradable balloons in a series of installations which will be on display in late January through February–-her largest project to date. The balloons will range in size from ten inches to ten feet, and will live inside and outside of New York City Ballet's home at Lincoln Center, the David H. Koch Theater. Jihan Zencirli creates art under the moniker Geronimo.

Patrons of the New York City Ballet (NYCB) can view the exhibit during three performances on Friday, January 26, Friday, February 2, and Saturday, February 24. Each show begins at 8:00pm and tickets begin at $30. Contact the NYCB for more information at (212) 496-0600.

The NYCB will host free, open hours for the general public to view the exhibition from Saturday, February 17 through Sunday, February 25 at the following times:

Monday-Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm
Saturday from 10:00am-12:00pm
Sunday from 10:00am-1:00pm
