New York Jewish Film Festival 2018

The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center will continue their partnership to bring you the 27th annual New York Jewish Film Festival from Wednesday, January 10 to Tuesday, January 23. The festival will showcase films from around the world--from Poland to Australia to Israel--that explore the diversity of Jewish experience. The official festival brochure can be found here.

 

This year's festival features an exciting lineup of pieces, including new work by fresh voices in international cinema as well as restored classics and various question and answer opportunities with directors. Enjoy such films as the hybrid documentary and dramatization piece The Invisibles, which explores stories of the 1,700 Jewish survivors who remained hidden in plain sight in Germany during WWII, or the world premiere of the restoration of The Mission of Raoul Wallenberg from 1990, which investigates the disappearance and death of Raoul Wallenberg who saved many lives during the Holocaust, or even the intellectual meets slapstick comedy Let Yourself Go, about a relationship between a misanthropic psychoanalyst and his new personal trainer, plus many other fantastic documentaries, revivals, dramas and more.
