No Trash, Curbside Composting, or Recycling Collection on Presidents Day 2.21.22

The New York City Department of Sanitation announced that in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday, there will be no trash, curbside composting or recycling collection on Monday, February 21.

  • Residents who normally receive Monday trash or curbside composting collection may place their material at the curb between 4:00pm and midnight Monday evening, for collection beginning Tuesday, however delays are to be expected, as is common after holidays and winter storms. 
  • Residents who normally receive Monday recycling collection should place their material out at curbside between 4:00pm and midnight on Sunday, February 27 for pickup on Monday, February 28.
