NYPD: Looking for Suspect in 2 Local Robberies
Police say the man depicted in the photos above and the video below robbed two women on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
 
At 2:20pm, police say the man went into the Ansonia Post Office on Columbus Avenue and 68th Street and shoved an 81-year-old woman to the floor and took her purse.
 
Just a few minutes later, police say he went into the Chase Bank on Broadway and 70th Street and emptied out the purse he had stolen. Police stated, "At one of the bank's ATMs, a 37-year-old female and her two children, a 4-year-old female and 5-month-old female, withdrew money from the machine. When the 4-year-old female took the money from the ATM, the individual came up from behind and grabbed it from her right hand. The individual fled the bank eastbound on West 70th Street with $300 and the 4-year-old female's glove."
