Passover & Easter 2021 in Lincoln Square

As we celebrate two holidays in early spring—Passover and Easter—local restaurants, businesses, and organizations around Lincoln Square can help you plan for the occasions. This year, Passover begins on the evening of Saturday, March 27 and ends on Sunday, April 4, while Easter will take place on Sunday, April 4. Check out a list of events, meals, and more below for some holiday ideas.

Passover & Easter Meals:

Breads Bakery (1890 Broadway at 63rd Street) is offering patrons a hearty holiday menu for Passover, including a full Seder package. You can also purchase individual items like haroset, matzo ball soup, flourless cakes, and more. The menu items will be available in-store from Thursday, March 18 through Sunday, April 4 or you can order catering items online here. Épicerie Boulud (1900 Broadway at West 64th Street) is offering catering options for Passover and Easter meals at home. Passover options include a brisket dinner for 4, smoked salmon and potato latkes, flourless chocolate cake, and more. Easter dishes include classic hot cross buns, lamb dinner for 4, and more. Dishes for both holidays are only available for pick-up: Passover dishes are available for pick-up on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27 from 10:00am to 4:00pm; Easter dishes are available for pick-up between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Friday, March 26, Saturday, March 27, and Saturday, April 3. Click here for more details on how to order online. You can also check out some more options for the holidays on Daniel Boulud Kitchen's Goldbelly site

At Bar Boulud (1900 Broadway at West 64th Street) celebrate both Easter and Passover with delicious meals. On Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 from 4:30pm – 9:30pm, enjoy a three-course prix-fixe Passover menu offered alongside the regular dinner menu, featuring Bar Boulud’s special take on Pesach classics. Click here to view the menu. Passover with a French flair is available on the heated terrace, in the main dining room, or to-go. Then, on Sunday, April 4 from 11:30am – 5:00pm, enjoy à la carte Easter specials alongside the restaurant’s seasonal brunch menu on the terrace or in the dining room. Click here to view the Easter Day specials

Rosa Mexicano (61 West 62nd Street at Columbus Avenue) can help you celebrate Passover and Easter with special meals at home or at the restaurant. Enjoy traditional Passover dishes with a Mexican twist for a 4-course meal at $50 per person when you dine-in between Friday, March 26 to Sunday, March 28. Click here to view the menu and click here to make a reservation. The Smith at Home is now offering Easter Brunch and Easter Dinner meals for pre-order online. These meal packages are available for delivery, serve 2 – 4 people depending on what you select, and include special dishes from The Smith ready to heat and eat at home. The Easter Brunch is available Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4; the Easter Dinner is available Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3.

Preparing Your Own Meal:

You can also pick up groceries from Whole Foods Market Columbus Circle (10 Columbus Circle), Gourmet Garage (155 West 66th Street at Broadway), and Target (1863 Broadway at 61st Street) to prepare your own Easter or Passover meal at home. These markets offer produce, meats, and baking essentials, plus some specialty foods for a Seder. Whole Foods Market is also offering pre-made Passover and Easter meals and dishes for pick-up at the Columbus Circle location. Pre-made meals make celebrating delicious and easy—just heat and eat. Passover dishes are available from Thursday, March 25 – Sunday, April 4 while Easter dishes are available Wednesday, March 31 – Sunday, April 4. Passover Seders:

If you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate, enjoy a Passover themed virtual program at the Marlene Meyerson JCC: Join a free evening Seder focused on Passover's themes of freedom and justice at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 1 or buy tickets to a Musical Tour of the Passover Haggadah at 12:30pm on Wednesday, March 31. Click here to view a number of Passover events at the JCC
