Rendez-Vous with French Cinema
Rendez-Vous with French Cinema returns Thursday, March 8 for its 23rd edition at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Through Sunday, March 18, enjoy a program that exemplifies the variety and vitality of contemporary French filmmaking. The films on view, by emerging talents and established masters, raise ideas both topical and eternal, and many take audiences to entirely unexpected places. Films from this year's edition include: Jeannette, The Childhood of Joan of Arc; A Paris Education; See You Up There; and more. Rendez-Vous with French Cinema seeks to demonstrate that the landscape of French cinema is as fertile, inspiring, and distinct as ever. Each viewing will take place at the Walter Reade Theater, 165 West 65th Street. Tickets for the general public are $17 with discounts available to members and seniors. Click here to see the promotional video.
