Send Mom a Special Gift for Mother's Day

There's still time to shop for Mom! Mother’s Day is right around the corner on Sunday, May 10, and despite the pandemic, there are still ways to show your love and appreciation. Businesses in the neighborhood, like L'Occitane en Provence, are offering overnight shipping options to send a gift fast--it may not be too late to get something in time for Sunday. We've put together a list of presents you can buy online from Lincoln Square’s businesses for the occasion. Check out potential fast shipping offers, or, order some food and treats from local spots (see below).

Williams-Sonoma is selling a special blend of Mother’s Day Tea in a tin online. Pair this with a nice teacup and saucer from the shop, or a number of other great home items, for a nice gift she can enjoy while social distancing at home. Bed Bath and Beyond has a page of gift recommendations for Mother’s Day, including a new bathrobe, kitchen appliances at a discount, and other products for around the home. Click here to view the page and get 20% off.

You can also find a number of great beauty products from Lincoln Square retailers for Mother’s Day. Visit Jo Malone London online for a new collection of floral perfumes you can spoil mom with, purchase a skincare and beauty set from L'Occitane en Provence, or send her a haircare package with a new brush from Aveda’s website. You can also find great limited edition skincare sets from Kiehl’s Since 1851. Check out Sephora’s website for more gift ideas, where you can find high-end makeup options, perfumes, or skincare products to help mom pamper herself. And, MAC Cosmetics is another spot for quality makeup gifts.

If mom is more of a gym rat, help her work out in style with gifts from lululemon. The store’s Mother’s Day gift idea page offers leggings, hoodies, and accessories to keep mom comfortable while she exercises at home. You can also direct her to the free yoga and meditation videos that Corepower Yoga is offering online.

Speaking of mom’s style, check out the online shops of some clothing retailers offering Mother’s Day gifts and discounts. Brooks Brothers is offering a special sale on women’s accessories, like jewelry, neckerchiefs, and purses for Mother’s Day. Head to the site to check out gift options. Madewell (part of J.Crew) has a page of gift ideas, too, with purses, dresses, cardigans, and more to keep mom stylish into spring weather. Also, head to Century 21’s website for designer brand gifts at a discount. The store likewise has a page of gift ideas with shoes, perfumes, and other accessories. Century 21 is regularly running additional discount deals, too.

You can also paint your own ceramic gift for Mother’s Day with a to-go kit from Color Me Mine. Customize a tray that says “Mom” which she can use for serving, jewelry, or decoration. Or, paint her a small pot for a houseplant. The to-go kits come with everything you need to make a unique gift, including stencils and paint. Check out the options here.

If your mom is with you or nearby in the neighborhood and City, consider buying or sending her a Mother’s Day brunch from The Smith. Check out the brunch specials here, available to order for pick up and delivery Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10. Or, buy her a special dinner from Rosa Mexicano. Check out the special family pack Mother’s Day menu here. You can also head to Whole Foods Market or Gourmet Garage to pick up mom some specialty foods to drop off or bring to her, including cheeses and chocolates, to make it a special Sunday at home.

Of course, these are just a handful of places offering Mother’s Day gifts to choose from. You can search our Neighborhood Guide for other retail options too. Happy Mother’s Day!
