Seniors: Sign Up for Affordable & Fresh Produce
This summer and fall, Upper West Side seniors can sign up for a special program to receive farm fresh produce at a discount!

Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, in partnership with Councilmember Helen Rosenthal, Councilmember Corey Johnson, and GrowNYC, is running Fresh Food for Seniors, which offers discounted bags of produce grown locally by New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania farmers. Delivered each week by GrowNYC, seniors can pay just $8 for a bag containing five to six varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables. In order to receive a bag of produce, individuals must sign up for one order at a time, one week ahead of the delivery date. Payment happens at sign up time, and customers then return a week later to pick up their bag full of pre-selected, farm fresh produce. Click here for details from Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer's website regarding pick up locations. Call (212) 669-8300 with any questions.
