Old John’s Diner (148 West 67th Street at Amsterdam Avenue)
The wait is over! Old John’s Diner is now open for breakfast from 8:00am – 12:00pm daily with several tables to dine outside on the sidewalk, too. Enjoy elevated classic diner dishes like waffles with fruit, breakfast sandwiches, steak and eggs, omelettes with home fries, and even breakfast specials from the comfort of the newly renovated restaurant. Plus, don’t forget to order a glass of freshly squeezed juice with your meal.
Nougatine at Jean-Georges (1 Central Park West at Columbus Circle)
Just off of Columbus Circle, take a seat inside at Nougatine for breakfast between 8:00am and 10:30am daily. Serving signature and seasonal dishes of Chef Jean‑Georges, enjoy breakfast with a French twist through dishes including eggs benedict, brioche French toast, smoked breakfast meats, and more. MO Lounge (80 Columbus Circle at West 60th Street)
On the 35th Floor of the Mandarin Oriental, New York Hotel, reserve a table for breakfast with great city views from above at MO Lounge. Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 11:00am daily and is available to non-hotel guests as well. The menu options range from an açaí berry bowl, to a full American breakfast, to Shakshuka, and more. Tartinery (10 Columbus Circle)
On the 3rd Floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle, you can enjoy a sit-down breakfast before you shop with views of Columbus Circle across the way at Tartinery's cafe section beginning at 9:00am, Monday - Saturday. In addition to its takeaway counter and hightops for on-the-go eaters, you can have your breakfast served to you at cafe tables nearby with selections including egg and smoked salmon toast, chia bowls, ham and cheese croissants, and more. Le Pain Quotidien (60 West 65th Street at Broadway)
For a more low-key and quick sit-down breakfast option, check out Le Pain Quotidien for hearty options to start the day. Open at 7:30am, Monday – Friday, and 8:30am on Saturday and Sunday, pop in for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, a Sunny Side Breakfast Bowl, organic steel-cut oatmeal with berries, or a bakery pastry. Épicerie Boulud (1900 Broadway at West 64th Street)
Just across Broadway from Dante Park and Lincoln Center, Épicerie Boulud is open daily at 8:00am for breakfast which you can enjoy inside or on the terrace. The French-inspired menu includes a selection of viennoiserie, quiche Parisienne, a béchamel and gruyère breakfast sandwich, warm baguette with butter and preserves, and more. Classic diner breakfast anyone? Stop into Westside Restaurant, a long-time Lincoln Square business, for all of your old-school diner breakfast cravings. Open daily at 7:00am order yourself some chocolate chip pancakes, a west side egg wrap, and a ton of omelette options, including vegetarian and combos.
