Special Music School Takes Manhattan - 20th Anniversary Play-a-thon

Young musicians from Kaufman Music Center's Special Music School, NYC's only K-12 public school for musically gifted children, will celebrate the school's 20th Anniversary with free public concerts throughout the city. This year's play-a-thon is a terrific way to engage with young musicians and enjoy live music from talented students.
Here in Lincoln Square, home to the Special Music School, the first performance will take place on Friday, May 12 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in Richard Tucker Park (66th Street, between Broadway and Columbus Avenue). There are two additional performances on May 12 elsewhere in the City, and there will be three other performances the following Friday, May 19. Click here to see the performance schedule.
