To say thank you for a great and long-standing partnership between WBGO and the Lincoln Square BID, WBGO is offering a special promotion for their fun and convenient Newport Jazz Festival Day Trip Package. The legendary Newport Jazz Festival takes place August 4, 5 & 6, and each day, WBGO has a bus departing from Columbus Circle, right at the southern end of our district, that takes guests straight to the festival gate.
Performances at the festival this year include: Cecile McLorin Salvant, Branford Marsalis, Henry Threadgill, Christian McBride Big Band, The Roots, Andra Day, supergroup Hudson (Jack DeJohnette, John Scofield, Larry Grenadier and John Medeski) and many more!
