Are you looking for a safe, fun and enriching way for your kids to spend spring break?

Check out the West Side Y’s (5 West 63rd Street between Broadway and Central Park West) STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, & math) Spring Break camps. These camps, which run from Monday, March 29 through Friday, April 2, are designed to engage kids in physical activities, arts & crafts, and fun science activities while they are out of school. There are two STEAM camps: one for ages 5- to 7-years old and one for ages 8- to 10-years old. The camp day begins at 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm, and campers will receive their very own set of materials and equipment. Click here to learn more and to register.

Can’t wait for summer to read and discuss books with authors and fellow campers? This year Symphony Space is offering a virtual Spring Break mini-camp for 9 – 11 year-olds for 4 fun days of all things books and reading. During the Thalia Kids Book Camp, three authors will discuss their latest book and engage the campers in discussion, writing, and other activities. The authors are: Adrianna Cuevas, author of The Total Eclipse of Nestor Lopez; Geoff Rodkey, author of We Are Not from Here; and Lincoln Peirce, author of Max and the Midknights: Battle of the Bodkins. Also, NYC's notable family and kiddie blog, Mommy Poppins, has put together a great guide for more Spring Break camps across New York City here. This blog post guide groups camp options together by interest, like sports camps, cooking camps, art camps, and more.
