Street Events Planned for Saturday 4/23

There are two events scheduled for Saturday, April 23 that will effect the area. 

There will be a single block street fair beginning at 10:00am sponsored by the Central Park Precinct Community Council. The fair will take place on the east side of Broadway between West 60th Street and West 61th Street concluding by 6:00pm. Set-up for the fair may begin as early as 8:00pm and breakdown may end as late as 8:00pm. The street will be closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the event. 

The March for Science will begin at West 72nd Street and Central Park West forming at 11:30am. Beginning at about 12:30pm, the march will move south on Central Park West with the plan to end at Bryant Park at approximately 1:30pm. There are no planned street closures for this event.
