Summer Saturday at the American Folk Art Museum
On Saturday, July 21, head to the American Folk Art Museum right here in Lincoln Square, on Columbus Avenue between 65th and 66th Streets, for an all-day event full of folk art fun. The American Folk Art Museum's Summer Saturday program features an exciting schedule of live music, artist demos, guided tours, and family fun all for free! Kids can enjoy art-making activities, an interactive puppet show, and kiddie music. Performances by singer-songwriters from the popular Free Music Friday series will happen throughout the day and gallery tours will uncover and dive into the current exhibits. Plus, outside the main entrance there will be face painting and an interactive fiber art installation.
