Sushi Spots in Lincoln Square
Who doesn't love good sushi? If you're craving some sashimi or rolls, Lincoln Square has a handful of spots to enjoy.

Chef Masa Takayama's  established and high-end Japanese restaurant  Masa  on the fourth floor of  The Shops at Columbus Circle , offers  a fixed-price sushi menu of $595 per person, not including beverages and tax. The experience is intimate and an exercise in visual and flavorful satisfaction. This modern and elegant spot requires reservations, with more details available here . At the same location,  Bar Masa ,  offers an exceptional menu of sushi and sashimi a la carte in a  refined, modern setting at more affordable prices.  Click here to see a sample menu   of Chef Masa's fresh, experimental approach to authentic Japanese cuisine.

Also in The Shops at Columbus Circle in the lower concourse, Whole Foods Market has a Japanese style sushi counter, called Genji, where patrons can sit and enjoy fresh Japanese cuisine for lunch or grab pre-made sushi plates to go made daily. The service is fast enough for a weekday lunch break if you work or live in the neighborhood. You can view a sample menu here before you stop in to taste for yourself.

Further up Broadway at 49 West 64th Street, Atlantic Grill is a wonderful seafood eatery offering delicious raw bar, plate, and sushi options in a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere. The menu lists some unique sushi roll options and classic sushi and sashimi pieces. You can make a lunch or dinner reservation here

You can also grab quick and easy to-go containers of lunchtime sushi at Melissa's Gourmet if you're in a pinch for time. The deli and sandwich market at 1875 Broadway offers a few standard sushi options that won't set you back an entire meal's worth of time if you want a bit of sushi mid-day.
