Jazz lovers get ready—the spring 2021 virtual term of Swing University at Jazz at Lincoln Center begins in late April, with a full roster of virtual class options. These fun and informal virtual classes are for students of all backgrounds and levels, and are taught by industry experts like Seton Hawkins, Todd Stoll, and Justin Poindexter as well as members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Explore jazz history, discuss new and classic tunes, and discover listening methods that will improve your concert experiences.

The spring virtual term runs between Tuesday, April 27 and Wednesday, June 30, with different schedules and a number of classes for each topic. Registration is open now, and topics for the term include, The Life of John Coltrane, Pop is Tops: Celebrating Louis Armstrong, or The Rise of Jazz-Rock Fusion, plus more! Interested students can purchase all access passes for the term or register for individual classes, which cost $10-$12 each. There is a discounted package rate for people who register by Monday, April 19 for the full roster of classes. All Swing University classes are conducted virtually, live.
