Have you been seeing white barricades out on the streets and wondering what they are for? Get ready for the 50th TCS New York City Marathon, returning on Sunday, November 7! The 26.2 mile race goes through all five boroughs, finishing right outside Lincoln Square in Central Park. Expect a lot of traffic on race day, as spectators will be gathering to cheer on participants as they pass Columbus Circle to make their way to the finish at West 67th Street. For details on street closures, including those in Lincoln Square, click here. As always, security measures will be in place to ensure the safety of participants and spectators. Click here to view a map of the 2021 course. Also, the New York Road Runners Dash to the Finish Line 5K race will occur on Saturday, November 6. This event is concentrated in Midtown and Central Park, but expect some traffic and closures if you travel into central Manhattan.
