The Best Meal of the Week - BRUNCH

Sundays and brunch are synonymous in New York City, and Lincoln Square is a wonderful spot to enjoy this city staple. Not only are there several incredible neighborhood eateries that offer fantastic weekend brunch, but The Metropolitan Opera is also now open to the public on Sundays with a new special brunch offering at the Grand Tier Restaurant: Sunday Brunch at the Met.

This season the Met Opera has opened the doors of the opera house on Sundays, allowing opera fans the chance to explore areas of the building that were previously closed off and to visit the special 50th anniversary exhibitions in Founders Hall. This popular initiative is now met with Sunday brunch at the Grand Tier Restaurant, from now through Sunday, May 7, featuring performances by rising Met stars. The brunch menu offers a $39 per person Prix Fixe, which includes endless Mionetto Prosecco cocktails, or delicious a la carte options. The Sunday Brunch is offered between 11:00am to 2:30pm with recitals by young Met artists occurring during the meal at 12:15pm and 1:30pm.
