Virtual Summer Volunteer Opportunity with DOROT for Adults 65+

Intergenerational connections are vital to community wellness. And on that front, DOROT is looking for older adults interested in participating as volunteer mentors in its Summer Teen Internship Program, which will take place virtually. Volunteers will join their peers and a cohort of exceptional teens for professionally facilitated Zoom and phone programs, like conversation groups, legacy art projects, virtual chess, music appreciation, and more. As we emerge from this year-long crisis that kept us largely separated from each other, it is important to re-forge strong connections to your community and DOROT’s program helps teens and older adults do so through engaging and impactful activities. Sessions for this program will take place from the end of June through mid-August. Click here to see DOROT's volunteer opportunities page
