There’s no better way to enjoy the warm summer weather than sitting in the sun with a good book! The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts has opened up an Outdoor Reading Room as part of Lincoln Center’s Restart Stages. Visitors can browse books as well as do grab-and-go pickup orders. There is also a designated research area that visitors can use by appointment. Masks or face coverings must be worn at all times, and visitors must observe social distancing guidelines.

The Outdoor Reading Room is located on the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 65th Street and is open for library services Monday through Friday from 11:30am-4:30pm. Seating will also be available on Saturdays. Get there early to catch some sun and enjoy the unique swinging egg chairs while you read! Learn more on the Outdoor Reading Room here.
