Volunteer for Holiday Meals with Goddard Riverside

On Christmas Day, December 25, Goddard Riverside Community Center will serve a festive holiday dinner to local neighbors in need, including those who have homes and those who live without shelter.
As a neighborhood tradition for more than 40 years, bringing different community members together, an important key to the success of these holiday meals is volunteers. Feeding more than 1,000 men, women, and children takes the support of enthusiastic volunteers for a morning or afternoon on Christmas. Goddard Riverside is looking for volunteers who can help with the following:
- Bake pies and cookies for the dessert table
- Prepare certain foods with the kitchen team
- Serve Christmas dinners to guests
- Deliver Christmas dinners to vulnerable homebound men and women
