Welcome 2018 in Lincoln Square Style

It's time to plan a fun night to welcome 2018! This December 31, the Lincoln Square neighborhood is a fantastic destination for your New Year's celebration. Many spots throughout the district are hosting special gatherings, live performances, and delicious dinner menus for a memorable goodbye to 2017!
Located at the top of the Empire Hotel, The Empire Rooftop is offering guests a chance to celebrate the New Year "above it all", enjoying music, an open bar, and more with great views of the Upper West Side. From 9:00pm to 1:00am, party-goers can experience a whole host of goodies during this special event, including hors d'oeuvres, party favors, a live orchestral ensemble, and a champagne toast. You can also celebrate the New Year at the elegant Ascent Lounge, located on the 4th Floor of Time Warner Center. This New Year's Eve event will feature live music and a DJ, an open bar, and more, including a live streaming of the Times Square Ball Drop! At Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola in Time Warner Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center is throwing a New Year's Eve party with saxophonist/clarinet virtuoso Paquito D'Rivera and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra bassist Carlos Henriquez. Playing great music at both 7:30pm and 11:00pm, the event price includes a three-course dinner menu and admission (plus a champagne toast for the 11:00pm set). The New York Philharmonic is hosting a concert on New Year's Eve at 8:00pm which will feature music from Leonard Bernstein's acclaimed Broadway scores. Toast the New Year and to the Philharmonic Laureate Conductor's 100th! Tickets begin at $105. Also, Live From Lincoln Center continues an annual tradition on PBS by ringing in 2018 with a broadcast of this Philharmonic concert.
If you're hungry, Rosa Mexicano at 61 Columbus Ave at 62nd St is offering a special four-course fiesta dinner on New Year's Eve. The menu offers delicious Mexican flavor for $49 per person and there will also be a special holiday cocktail for the evening (extra cost). Feliz Año Nuevo!
The Smith at 1900 Broadway will have two dinner options on New Year's Eve. From 5:00pm to 8:00pm, enjoy a special a la carte menu with great options. Later on from 10:00pm to 1:00am, you can enjoy their second seating menu, where $140 per person will give you access to a full open bar and a champagne toast to celebrate and your choice of starter, main course, and dessert. On New Year's Day, you can also join The Smith for brunch.
On the third floor of Time Warner Center, Landmarc will be open on New Year's Eve offering a full menu, available all night, as well as some fun festive specials. Don't miss this opportunity to welcome 2018 with French and Italian inspired cuisine at this neighborhood bistro.
Boulud Sud at 20 West 64th Street has listed a special New Year's Eve Gala Dinner and a New Year's Eve Pre-Theater Dinner to celebrate this special holiday. For the Pre-Theater Dinner, enjoy a three-course Prix Fixe dinner from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for $115 per person and save time for further celebration at a show or a late-night party. Or, make reservations for the Gala dinner, which offers a three-course tasting menu for $198 per person from 8:30pm to 10:00pm.
Bar Boulud at 1900 Broadway is also offering both a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner and a New Year's Eve Pre-Theater Dinner on December 31. From 4:00pm to 7:00pm, enjoy the three-course, Prix Fixe Pre-Theater Dinner menu for $75 per person. Or, from 9:00pm to midnight, reserve your spot for the Gala Dinner's four-course tasting menu for $155 per person.
Delight in a savory four-course Prix Fixe menu from at Asiate inside of the Mandarin Oriental, New York Hotel. Along with dinner, enjoy a welcome glass of Louis Roederer Champagne. Seating is available from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at $298 per person ($78 for children 12 and under). Guests are also welcome to join the Louis Roederer Champagne Reception on the 36th floor starting at 8:00pm for an extra $250 per person.
Also at the Mandarin Oriental, indulge in a celebration with food and drink at the hotel's new bar and restaurant-for-drinks, The Aviary NYC. At the spots firrst-ever New Year’s Eve Pre-Party, guests can celebrate with a special three-course cocktail and canapes tasting menu from 4:30pm to 8:30pm!
